Stetchworth Park was also sold in 1960 to a horse breeder called Douglas Gray who subsequently sold it in 1982 to Bill Gredley one of Britain’s best-known and wealthiest horse breeders and father of show jumper and Olympic hopeful Tim Gredley.

Bill Gredley’s most famous winner is User Friendly which won three Classics five Group One races came second in the Prix de l’Arc De Triomphe and was named as the 1992 European Horse of the Year and European Champion Three-Year-Old filly.
